Don’t shoot the messenger.

Only one of us is in favor of such a deal. A second-round pick for the 10th pick of the 2014 draft doesn’t seem too wild for one of our co-hosts. And if you’re a long-time listener, you probably won’t be too surprised.

But that’s only one part of a wide-ranging conversation that touched on a little bit of everything.

We first stopped down the street from Brandon’s place in Phoenix, AZ, to check in on the latest from the NFL meetings. Negotiations are under way for Matthew Stafford and Ziggy Ansah. We didn’t hesitate to dive into fake numbers and comparative projections.

And, of course, opinions.

Then the conversation meandered to the coaching staff, where general manager Bob Quinn was noticeably quiet. Some find that comforting. They think that puts head coach Jim Caldwell squarely on the hot seat. Other media members are reading the tea leaves in another matter, and those polarizing opinions have split the co-hosts yet again.

There were some agreements, however, when we finally made our way to the draft. Well, mostly. Neither of us had an issue with trading Eric Ebron (of podcast title fame) for Myles Garrett straight up. We differed once the compensation was dropped to a second-round pick.

We topped off the podcast with a few other questions about the draft before getting to the breaking news about the new uniforms. Oh, and you won’t want to miss the hot Honolulu Blue takes.

As always, we appreciate you listening and sharing with friends and family. And please leave us a review wherever you listen.
